It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections relating to people who live or have lived in Charleston County, South Carolina. The service hosts no government records and is not affiliated with an office, court, or record custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or material located through it, to:

3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

11. Governing Law
South Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, S.C. Code Ann. tit. 30, ch. 4, governs access to nonexempt public records held by public bodies, including the request and exemption provisions in §§ 30-4-30 and 30-4-40. The Family Privacy Protection Act, S.C. Code § 30-2-50, restricts knowing use of personal information obtained from public records for commercial solicitation.
12. Severability
If a portion of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect.
